The work explores the relationship between matter, time, and transformation. Between envisioned forms and those that emerge through the process, planning and experimentation come together through gesture and the possibilities inherent in clay.

Each piece is developed individually, slowly and with close attention to how the material responds. White, black, and earth tones predominate, alongside an ongoing exploration of surfaces.
